faq

How often should I practice in between guitar lessons to make noticeable progress?

Daily practice is crucial for boosting those skills between lessons. Aim for at least 20-30 minutes of focused practice each day.

Keeping things consistent helps you remember what you’re learning and strengthens muscle memory. To make the most out of your practice, just go with the techniques and exercises your instructor suggests. Remember, it’s not just about how often you practice, but also about making each session count!

What sets in-home guitar lessons apart from online? Which do you recommend for the best results?

Our in-person and online guitar lessons will both boast positive results. However, after years teaching we can confidently say that in-person lessons have the one up on online. This allows your instructor provide instant, hands on feedback.

We always recommend our in-person private lessons, but it’s your choice based on your schedule and preferences! We are dedicated to ensuring your learning is easy and successful, regardless of the option you choose.

Do you teach beginner guitar? What ages are your students?

We teach students of all skill levels and ages! Even if you are on the hunt for intermediate to advanced guitar lessons, we’ve got the teacher for you. Our guitar teachers will adjust lessons for different ages and music styles to ensure each person has a specialized learning experience. This includes children, teenagers, adults, and seniors!

Do you teach acoustic guitar or electric guitar?

We teach electric, acoustic, and classical guitar! Although your instructor may be more specialized in one, there are many commonalities between these three instruments. They share many of the same theory and techniques.

We recommend starting on whichever the student enjoys playing the most! Guitar can be a fairly demanding instrument to learn, so it’s important that you’re in love with the sound of your instrument.
